English Language Arts Education K-12

The English Language Arts Education program at the University of Florida is unlocking the power of literacy for the next generation. Whether preparing for teacher certification, educational leadership, or literacy research, our program provides the perfect launch pad for the next step in your education career.

Composed of several specializations and one teacher education program, English Education K-12 at the University of Florida is dedicated to the preparation of exemplary teachers and scholars who understand the role of language, texts and culture in education and the importance of assisting all students in developing the literacy skills they need to have productive, insightful and meaningful lives as participants in a democratic society.
