Science or Mathematics Teaching Certificate

About the Certificate

This online graduate certificate is designed for fully-certified teachers who want to improve their knowledge and skills in mathematics or science teaching at the secondary level. The coursework is designed to be job-embedded and applied immediately in your own classroom.  Students will develop advanced understandings and strategies for teaching inquiry-oriented, student-centered instruction in mathematics or science that engages learners, supports higher level thinking, and utilizes formative and summative assessment strategies.  Please note that this advanced program does not provide initial teacher certification, but rather it is for teachers who are already credentialed.

This certificate is 15 credits total. Information about current tuition for online graduate coursework in our college can be found here: https://education.ufl.edu/coe-online/tuition-and-fees/
