Enhancing Teaching Engagement with Technology

The UF Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT) is offering its Teaching with Technology certificate of completion program. This fully online, asynchronous, facilitated series is comprised of two workshops that explore opportunities to increase student engagement and improve instructor presence through a technology-enhanced learning environment. This program begins October 28.

Workshop #1: Technology to Improve Instructor Presence (10/28 – 11/10)
In this workshop, participants explore strategies and tools to create an effective online instructor presence in course design and delivery as well as how to incorporate technology into teaching. Participants will practice creating engaging and interactive instructional videos. 

Workshop #2: Technology to Captivate Students (11/11– 11/24)
In this workshop, participants review strategies to engage diverse learners and build a learning community through the use of technology. Workshop materials and activities will explore ways to improve student engagement and promote student feedback.
