NSF Releases Prospective New Awardee Guide
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has released a revised Prospective New Awardee Guide effective June 1, 2020. The new awardee guide contains helpful information for preparing documents and for understanding the requirements of managing a federal award. In addition to complying with all NSF regulations, recipients of NSF awards are required to comply with all applicable federal requirements set forth in 2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
NSF receives over 50,000 proposals each year for research, education, and training projects, of which approximately 11,000 are funded. In addition, NSF receives several thousand applications for graduate and postdoctoral fellowships. NSF welcomes proposals from all qualified scientists, engineers, and educators and strongly encourages women, minorities, and persons with disabilities to participate fully in its programs.
