Why Properly Acknowledging Federal Funding Support Is Important

Accurately acknowledging federal funding is important to help ensure proper stewardship of taxpayer funds and to recognize federally sponsored research. Principal Investigators should review the terms of their awards from each federal agency to determine the requirements for proper acknowledgments of all work resulting from federal support.
