IES Awards Nearly $8 Million in Funding for Education Technology
The Institute of Education Science (IES) awarded nearly $8 million for the development and testing of education technology designed to improve teaching and learning. The grants were awarded through the U.S. Department of Education’s Small Business Innovation Research program (ED/IES SBIR), which is administered by IES’s National Center for Education Research (NCER).
ED/IES SBIR anticipates releasing its Fiscal Year 2018 solicitation in late 2017 or early 2018, with a submission date 45 days after.
If you have any ideas that might fit an SBIR proposal or a proposal for the National Science Foundation, NIH, or other federal agency, please contact Ana Puig at anapuig@coe.ufl.edu or 352-273-4121 to begin a discussion of your ideas.
