NSF Proposal Preparation and Submission in Research.gov Begins in April

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has been involved in a multi-year initiative to modernize the proposal submission process and transition from using FastLane to Research.gov. Beginning in April 2018, proposers can choose to prepare and submit non-collaborative research proposals in FastLane or Research.gov. Collaborative proposals must still be submitted in FastLane.

As always, the COE Office of Educational Research (OER) will be available to assist with uploads or any questions you may have concerning the eventual transition of all proposal preparation and submission functionality from FastLane to Research.gov.

For more information, please see a recent presentation on YouTube and visit NSF’s Electronic Research Administration (ERA) Forum website for additional information and a demonstration of the new proposal preparation functionality in Research.gov.
