AERA 2021 Annual Meeting Call for Submissions Is Open
The American Educational Research Association (AERA) has announced its 2021 Annual Meeting call for paper and sessions submissions. The 2021 AERA Annual Meeting will be held on April 9–12, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. The overall theme is “Accepting Educational Responsibility.” The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm PDT on July 22, 2020.

AERA encourages you to consider a paper or session submission to a division, special interest group (SIG), or committee that best aligns with your research interests. The portal must be used for all submissions for consideration by a division, special interest group, or committee. Please review the Call for Submissions as it contains important information about this year’s Annual Meeting theme and submission requirements.
The 2021 AERA Annual Meeting is a long-planned shift to a four-day meeting with a full day of programming on Days 1 and 4 (April 9 and April 12) The Opening Plenary and Reception will take place the evening before the start of sessions on Thursday, April 8. This will also be the first AERA Annual Meeting in Florida.
