UF Office of Research Announces 2021 Research Opportunity Seed Fund

The UF Office of Research has announced the 2021 Research Opportunity Seed Fund (ROF) competition. ROF targets interdisciplinary, faculty-initiated research projects with potential for extramural support. The program focuses on new projects and/or new collaborative partnerships.

The College of Education is allowed to submit four (4) proposals to the university-level for this competition. To participate in the college’s internal review and selection of proposals to move forward, submit your proposal (in a single-file PDF) to research@coe.ufl.edu by December 15, 2020, 5:00 pm.

Proposals may be submitted by any UF faculty member (PI) eligible to submit a proposal for external funding. The budget for each proposal is up to $100K.

Selected proposals must be submitted both through UFIRST and InfoReady Review (IRR at https://ufresearch.infoready4.com/#)

All proposals must be submitted to the UF Research at or before 5:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021.
