These programs are designed to prepare students for
careers in teaching.
Teacher preparation programs (Elementary Education; Alternative Elementary Education Certification (SITE)) provide supervised teaching experiences and state certification to teach. Secondary Education Programs in English, Science, Math, or Social Studies) will provide supervised teaching experiences and culminate in professional certification in the field of study.
The UFTeach Education minor for undergraduate STEM majors yields alternative certification to teach as well.
