Learn the Essentials to Create Your NIH Biosketch

Join the online session of NIH training on February 24, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM (ET). This training introduces the Biosketch, a required document for NIH and interagency grant applications. The session covers its components, formatting requirements, and how to use the Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) to manage and customize Biosketches. This training is ideal for grant applicants, current NIH grant recipients, researchers, faculty, administrators, research support staff, and early-career scientists who need to create or manage a Biosketch for NIH-funded research.

By the end of this training, attendees will be able to:
• Identify the required components of the Biosketch
• Construct a Biosketch and share it with SciENcv
• Distinguish the tools that can be used along with the Biosketch

Attendees should ensure that they have a MyNCBI account established prior to this training but are not expected to have prior knowledge of the Biosketch.

Date & Time: February 24, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (ET) | Online

Update: Virtual NCES Data Users Conference Postponed

The virtual NCES Data User Conference, originally set for February 11-13, 2025, has been postponed. This decision allows the Institute of Education Sciences to reassess how to fulfill its mission within available resources and agency priorities. Later this year, NCES may issue a public update on rescheduling this important event, which supports the work and partnerships within the education statistical community. The original update can be found here.
