Grants.gov Releases New Mobile App

The new Grants.gov mobile app allows you to search, subscribe to, and share federal funding opportunities. Download the Grants.gov mobile app on Google Play or Apple’s App Store.

Using Quick Search, you can search for specific topics or funding agencies. If you see a potential opportunity, you can subscribe to get alerts if the funding agency makes updates to the announcement. You can also share opportunities with colleagues.

Grants.gov Offers New Discussion Forum

Grants.gov is offering a new discussion forum providing a community space for both applicants and grantors to communicate and share resources.

Some functions of the discussion forum include a list of categories where you can post comments or questions, a subscribe option to receive notices about a specific thread of interest, a place where experienced applicants can share resources and advice with new applicants. Applicants can also converse with grant funding agencies.

The discussion forum is accessible under the Connect tab after you log into your Grants.gov account.

NSF Revises Award Terms and Conditions

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has revised its Award Terms and Conditions. The revised documents are available on the NSF Policy Office Award Conditions website. The revised Award Terms and Conditions will apply to all new NSF awards and funding amendments to existing NSF awards made on or after May 14, 2018.

Draft NSF PAPPG Published in the Federal Register for Public Comment

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has published notice in the Federal Register of the availability of the “For Comment” version of the Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) anticipated effective January 2019.

The 60-day comment period runs through July 13, 2018.

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) announces the 2018 NCES STATS-DC Data Conference, July 2527 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. The theme of this year’s conference is “Visualizing the Future of Education through Data.” The conference is free and open to the public.
